Manager, Member Relations
Position Overview:
WCHAM’s Member Relations team plays a pivotal role in engaging with prominent global corporations to drive policy advocacy, foster collaboration, and deliver member value. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Corporate Relations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of top-tier corporate accounts in the healthcare and financial services sectors. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept at building strong partnerships, and capable of driving member engagement to achieve revenue objectives.
Responsibilities:
– Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and government affairs leaders within top-tier healthcare and financial services corporations.
– Engage members through regular communication channels to share updates, develop strategic initiatives, and deliver tailored value propositions.
– Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to provide members with relevant opportunities for involvement and engagement.
– Collaborate with internal policy experts to identify areas of interest for members and enhance advocacy offerings.
– Coordinate with Finance and Operations departments for revenue forecasting, invoicing, and engagement tracking.
– Lead revenue growth initiatives, surpassing annual targets for account retention and revenue generation.
– Drive sales and prospecting efforts to identify and onboard new members, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
– Act as a collaborative team player, supporting colleagues and contributing to team success.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising or sales support, preferably in the healthcare and/or financial services sectors.
– Proven track record in relationship management, client servicing, and sales.
– Strong presentation and persuasion skills, with the ability to engage corporate leaders effectively.
– Proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, for tracking progress and enhancing member participation.
– Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to work and problem-solving.
– Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
– Ability to manage complex portfolios and prioritize tasks effectively.
– Comfort with ambiguity and openness to challenging assumptions.
– Interest in policy and politics with a solid understanding of WCHAM’s mission and objectives.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
