Manager, Exhibitions & Events

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager for Exhibitions & Events to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a diverse range of exhibitions, conferences, and events to promote business networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among our members and stakeholders globally.

Responsibilities:
– Lead the strategic planning and execution of exhibitions, conferences, and events organized by WCHAM, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and member needs.
– Develop innovative event concepts and formats to enhance attendee engagement and drive participation.
– Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to secure speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors for events.
– Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and on-site coordination.
– Oversee marketing and promotion efforts to maximize event attendance and visibility.
– Coordinate with communications team to develop event-related content, collateral, and promotional materials.
– Evaluate event performance and participant feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future events.
– Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the overall event experience and drive innovation.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management, preferably in a global business or trade organization.
– Proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale exhibitions, conferences, and events.
– Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally.
– Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving innovation in event experiences.
– Proficiency in event management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
– Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
